It is difficult to find a top that fits nicely- this one sure does! The chest area is not too wide; the belly has a nice and generous opening for potty and the top is not too short where it looks like half a top. I have seen so many tops with not enough of an opening in the belly for a good "clearance", if you know what I mean. I highly recommend this top. Well made!
